Manager – Strategic Alliances – eCommerce

Key Parameters

– India Night shift (6.30 pm to 3.30 am IST ) to match with US Eastern Time

– 5+ years of experience

– Ability to travel to US 3 times per year for 3 weeks each – Has US visa

– Prior experience in meeting and interacting with US customers

– An educational degree in engineering, Marketing or business from the United States is preferred

Description :

– The Strategic Alliances Manager (SAL) plays a key role in driving acquisition and revenue through our extensive and varied partner portfolio.

– Working closely with the Partnerships and wider Marketing team you’ll be responsible for managing cross-channel marketing initiatives for a range of our partners with a particular focus on generating leads from partner ecosystem.

– Your working hours will be in the India night shift (6.30 pm to 3.30 am IST) on US Eastern Time.

Objectives :

You will be measured based on the following criteria :

– Number of signed partnership agreements

– Number of leads generated from the partnerships

– Eco-system Partners

– United Parcel Service (UPS)

– E-commerce Cart Providers – Shopify, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, 3dcart,

– Developers/Agencies working with Ecommerce Carts – e.g. Lucent

– Developers working with our Clients – get more business out of them

Integration Partners – Email service providers (Listrak, Bronto), CRMs

Other Partners – Shopgate (Mobile), Bazaar Voice, Yotpo (Reviews)

Job Responsibilities :

The Strategic Alliances Manager will be responsible for the following key areas :

Acquisition :

– Create and implement the strategy for the partner out-reach program through email marketing, referrals and other channels

– Identify the partners based on the set identification parameters and deliver striking presentations explaining the product, benefits and partnership model

– Explore new pilot programs and breakthrough opportunities to promote Zinrelo’s programs

– Follow up rigorously with partners and get them to sign up for the partnership agreement

Engagement & Retention :

– Manage programs to maintain loyalty of our current partners

– Create and manage partner communications calendar to educate and engage our partners on weekly/monthly basis

– Send co-branded collateral to partners. Explore the possibility of doing joint webinars, blogs, case studies, newsletters, press releases, infographics etc.

– Work with the partner on CRS methodology (Customer retention score)

– Develop sales support material and work hand in hand with the marketing team

– Set up sales training for the account managers at the Partner – get them interested in Zinrelo’s product

– Get partners to promote in their monthly newsletter to clients

– Educate and engage partners on new feature releases, case – studies, blogs published etc.

Demand Generation :

– Through continuous partner engagement program and CRS methodology generate leads (clients) from partnership

– Manage Business Development Managers who do the prospecting

– Reach out to clients either through the partner or directly based on permissions and pre-agreed norms

– Based on the qualification parameters set up demo meetings with the sales team

– Follow up with the lead after the meeting is done until the agreement is signed

Reporting :

– Manage reporting on partner acquisition, engagement and demand generation

– Regularly update status of all partnerships; clearly define the stage each partner is at

– Maintain a list with status of all client partnership prospects + signed partnerships

– Maintain a list with status of all leads + signed agreements

Job Requirements :

– 5+ years of proven B2B marketing experience in a partnerships or B2B marketing function

– Experience or knowledge of online marketplaces and e-commerce preferred

– Prior management experience preferred but not required

– Strong project management skills and ability to manage and prioritize several active marketing campaigns

– Strong presentation skills – Ability to present to Partners and to Zinrelo Clients

– Experience in influencer strategy and digital marketing/Social media trends a plus

– Online and e-commerce experience is a plus

– Capable building positive relationships at a senior level; internally and externally

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good all round copywriting ability

– Strong attention to detail

– Proactive, well organized and self-motivated

– Experience or knowledge of online marketplaces and e-commerce preferred

– Prior management experience preferred but not required

– Experience in influencer strategy and digital marketing/Social media trends a plus
